I like how waiters and waitresses have a spring in their step as soon their shifts are about to end.

 

I feel uncomfortable sitting in a room with white lighting, especially when it’s daytime.

 

I don’t like people taking pictures of me because most of the time I don’t even feel like a person. But I’m learning to tolerate myself.

I try to make worthwhile stuff, and that stuff only comes after a long internal struggle — because it’s the stuff nobody’s talking about.

 

I think being a writer means thinking about everything without ego — straplines, long copy, captions, body copy, scripts, comic strips, cocktail names, billboard ads, restaurant names, print ads, exhibit descriptors, reels.
